One
unbeatable fact about worshiping God with hymns is that, 'it
unravels the Sacred act of worship from our Heart... It has the power to
connect us to the very essence of WORSHIP. We are approaching an age
where the true essence of Worship will be dragged into the mud. We now
Worship (follow) the Lord simply because we want to 'Benefit from Him'
and not because we actually want to 'Benefit Him'. That is simply
MANIPULATION because We exist for Him (His Pleasure) and not Him for us.
If you really take your time to Study the stories behind MAJORITY of
these Hymns, You will understand that they are God-breathed and we're
composed from 'Sincere' Hearts to express their love to their Maker
irrespective of the excruciating and deadly situations live had thrown
towards them. That is the true definition of Worship. Lets hear Job's
definition of worship (Job 1:20-21); "Then Job arose, and rent his
mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and Worshiped, And said,
Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
Hmmmmmmm.... What a Heart of Worship. Apostle Paul took the words of
Job further in Phil. 3:8; Considering ALL things (Materialism) invalid
for his love (Worship) for the giver of these things. He also echoes
something key in; Col 1:24: "Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you,
and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my
flesh for his body's sake....". These scriptures and lot more will
surely help to give an explicit picture of the Worship and it's Essence.
By God's grace, I saw the need to take us back to the these 'Core
Truths' through an Event of Worship such as this. I trust that YAHWEH
will reveal Himself to us in a deeper dimension..... SELAH!!!
Every act of worship carried out on this day will be PURELY HYMNED.
